Written in late 2011. It is a song about a fictional "femme fatale" struggling to find her identity, though she would never admit it. She is haunting and beautiful and "never walks alone", falling in love and seducing men to solidify her own sense of self worth. Written during the ending of a long relationship, the song is an ode to the power of the feminine and also explores the fantasy that "every man's heart breaks" when this woman falls in love, giving her an exaggerated sense of power tied to her sexuality, and consoling her (in a deluded way) and convincin her that she is lovable and desirable even after her current relationship is crumbling.
